My Broken Vessel

This is something I have wanted to talk about for awhile but I've been really sacred to I just don't want to feel vulnerable or have people think I'm doing this for attention. I want this to be able to help someone. I want this to give hope to people. I had stared high school and I was so excited and ready the year started and I was running I had trained all summer for Cross country. It was the homecoming week and I had decided to play powderpuff and it was freshmen vs. juniors and these two bigger girls had taken me down and I had landed on my knee weird and it started hurting but I just kept playing and running and doing what i was supposed to. When I had gotten to the car with my parents and started crying my knee hurt so bad. I went home and iced it, taped it, took ibuprofen did everything I could. I ended up not being able to run for a month and the week I came back it was districts and I wanted to go so bad because I would of been able to go with my brother ...

Closing a chapter

Graduation is a week from today, and honestly I'm really emotional about it, but as I was telling my mom why it all made sense. For, the last four years of my life I have been living at the school six of the seven days. Putting so much energy, time, loss of sleep, loss of hair on my head, caring, and why because I wanted to make this school a better place. Growing up in a small town I didn't even really notice until I realized how involved I was. My high school isn't the biggest, but it's still a pretty good size for our area. I realized how I knew or recognized about every kid in my school, helping with the special needs kids, and seeing how much joy they brought, knowing personal things about my teachers, and being able to talk about how their date went, or how their kids are doing. Its the things like this that have made me so connected to my school. It is so bittersweet knowing I'm ready to leave, but at the same time this place was where memories were made, ...

Why God...

Oh my heart has been heavy the past couple of months, and I have learned how to put a smile on my face and keep dancing with my best foot forward. I look for the positives in my day to over throw the negatives. I have been on my knees asking why God did this happen. Why is my heart broken into a million pieces, please help me put it back together. Today my sweet grandpa burred his mom and then a couple hours later got a call that his other "mom" my nana had passed away after battling years of a cancer that was eating her from the inside out. My nanie has surgery on Tuesday on her heart, I had my heart broken into a million pieces from a satiation. God keeps putting trials in my life, and I tell him I know your doing this so I become the person you need me to be. Someone gave me the analogy of a phenix telling me I was the phenix and all my trials I was rising from the ashes but I wasn't perfected yet into the phenix my Heavenly Father needed me to be.
