I am not a trained professional I just have learned these things out during my years, and thought it would be useful for new runners, or anyone wanting to try running.
The thing I'm going to talk about doesn't sound fun to everyone but I wanted to share my perspective of it! It started back in the 7th grade I had got cut from the girls basketball team and I was devastated. My mom told me to try Cross country just to see if I would like it. I went to practice that very day and died! I realized my volleyball workouts were easy compared to this, but I fell in love with running and their was something about it running is mentally a hard sport but I loved it who knew that it would later ended up me stopping playing volleyball basketball and softball just to run. As I got older I learned to train harder. I stopped running for a couple months and I'm starting completely over my times are slow and I'm retraining my body what its like to run but I'm finding the love I have for running! I'm not going to lie I hate some days and its hard for me to run but thats okay. I knew this would be hard finding my motivation and dig in way deep to find it I know that it is going to be hard some days but stay with it and you will move mountains if you keep with it. I hope what ever you guys do make sure you love it that you have fun with it but that it also challenges you. I have some tip for new runner that want to try cross country
